3D Architectural Film City Center Augsburg – Leonsheart
Leonsheart is located directly on Schmiedberg in Augsburg's city center – within walking distance of the cathedral and town hall. gmsvision produced a hybrid 3D architectural film: real drone footage of the historic city center seamlessly combined with precise 3D animation of the planned building.
The result is not a conventional visualization film – but an authentic cityscape in which new architecture and established surroundings convincingly come together.
Concept & Hybrid Production
The key challenge was to present the central location credibly. The solution: combining real drone footage with 3D animation – camera movements, lighting moods, and perspectives were precisely matched and complemented with digital architecture.
Leonsheart connects historic surroundings with contemporary architecture. Materials, viewpoints, and the urban context define the film. Photomatching and precise calibration create a credible link between reality and digital architecture – city life is not explained but made tangible.
