How We Visualized 9 Luxury Villas for a 99 Million Euro Project on Ibiza
Hippiements Village is one of the most exclusive new developments on Ibiza: nine gleaming white luxury villas on the seafront, right next to S'Argamassa beach in Santa Eulària. Traditional Ibizan architecture meets the highest German quality standards. The project volume: 99 million euros.
For the international marketing of this luxury project, the Domus Vivendi Group commissioned gmsvision to create the complete visual experience – from photorealistic 3D renderings and interior visualizations to a cinematic animation film, cinemagraphs and photomatching.
In this case study, we show how we accompanied the project over approximately one year – from the first design consultations to the final animation film. And why architectural visualization played a central role in this award-winning project.

The Challenge
How do you showcase nine villas that don't yet exist – in a setting that is truly one of a kind?
The Domus Vivendi Group needed visual content that achieves three things simultaneously: convey the unique seafront location, authentically represent the character of Ibizan architecture, and emotionally convince international buyers – long before construction begins. Particularly challenging was the depiction of materiality: hand-formed walls, natural stone, Sabina wood, rounded corners – elements that define Ibizan building tradition and are difficult to capture in standard renderings.

Our Approach
Together with the Domus Vivendi Group, gmsvision developed a visual language that combines the Mediterranean character of the project with a touch of hippie flair. The approach was holistic:
Photorealistic 3D exterior visualizations – Each of the nine villas was individually visualized: with pool, terraces, Mediterranean gardens and direct sea views. Day and evening moods showcase the special atmosphere.
High-end interior visualizations – Open living areas with wooden beam ceilings, custom kitchens with Gaggenau appliances, luxurious bathrooms with Dornbracht fittings, private wine cellars and home cinemas – every detail rendered photorealistically.
3D animation film – A complete cinematic walkthrough guides viewers through the entire complex: from exteriors through pools and terraces into the interiors.
Cinemagraphs – Subtle motion effects in selected renderings create liveliness: flowing curtains, shimmering water, flickering fire pits.
Photomatching – Integration of 3D models into real drone footage of the coastline for an especially authentic location presentation.

The Creative Process
Over a period of approximately one year, our team worked closely with the Domus Vivendi Group – from the first facade studies to the final animation film.
The process began with developing a visual design language: How can traditional Ibizan architecture be combined with modern luxury? How do hand-formed walls and Sabina wood appear in photorealistic rendering? Which lighting moods best convey the Ibiza lifestyle? Special attention was given to the connection between interior and exterior spaces – a central element of Ibizan architecture. Every rendering went through multiple feedback loops to perfect materials, perspectives, vegetation and atmosphere.

The Results
The result is a comprehensive visual presentation that harmoniously connects architecture, location and lifestyle at the highest level:
- Over 30 photorealistic 3D renderings – exterior and interior views
- A complete 3D animation film for international marketing
- Cinemagraphs for digital campaigns and social media
- Photomatching with real drone footage
- Concept and mood visualizations for the design phase
The project was awarded the European Property Award – and the visualization made an important contribution to conveying the project's special character to the jury.
